Wearing my teacher pants today, later on I will be training someone to do part of my job so that she can step in when I am not around. Our storeman usually steps up to do it but he left so when I was on holiday there was a right old hoo ha so it has been decided we need to train our new store person. She is smart so will pick it up easily.

Yes, even short breaks are nice.

I love quiet mornings, but usually, MrsT has the lights on in every room, and she’s asking me 20 questions, and reading the internet to me out loud…today, though, she’s getting blood work done, so she’s in town, and I’m sitting here in a completely quiet house, all the lights off, windows open before it gets too hot, waiting for the rain to start, and it’s heaven!

I have a husband who'll sit on the dark, with his headphones on. He'll do the washing up with headphones on. He's always listening to music. It's kind if like being married to a teenager, only thankfully I can't hear the music through the headphones. We have a perfectly good stereo system, but it doesn't get used...

So even when he's home, I'm usually 'alone'.

T-18 days till the princess arrives.
Haven't been on here much except during coffee/lunch breaks during the work day. After work hours I go into chores mode and sadly that does not include cooking anything extravagant that would be worth sharing on the board. I raise my coffee mug to you all and say Cheers!

Well all four of my babies were three weeks late so there is no guarantee (unless its a caesarian or induction). I avoided either, like the plague and would only have agreed to them if my life or the babies lives were being threatened. Luckily I had all natural births, at home with no pain-killers. I rather enjoyed it.

I hope it all goes well for you. :okay:
 
We are talking about going to a hotel (Hilton) with an outdoor pool that's about 15 miles away sometime in the next two weeks. There are lots of restaurants nearby so we could hang out by the pool, go eat, go back to the room for the night, get up and do the pool that afternoon. Pretty sure they would let us hang by the pool after we check out and maybe before we check in.

Just keep your key card after checkout time. You can show it to anyone who questions you at the pool.
