I do not believe it! We are going to get hit by a subtropical storm up to a possible category 1 hurricane later this week. In my almost 50 years of living here, we've never had a storm this late in the season. There was 1 mid October several years ago when we were still doing the big Halloween decorations, we had to get everything down in a couple of days rather than over a couple of weeks. But into second week of November, NEVER!

I saw that. Seems you may be hit by a hoax in a few days. Hopefully it won't get very strong, and it will move through quickly. 🤞

Well, from 1.5°C ❄️ Monday last week to a forecast 28°C :sun: this coming Friday is beginning to sound more like summer is on its way.

(Worst I've seen was 44.1°C drop to 2°C inside 36hrs February a couple of years ago, so this isn't unusual).

I have just deactivated my twitter account and uninstalled the app.
The place wasn't perfect, but now it is just the mouthpiece for a manboy billionaire to spout right wing rhetoric and Republican party support.
Such a shame, there are so many writers, comedians, musicians and creatives who rely on the site for exposure and Musk has decided they must pay to continue to be seen whilst also removing all the safeguards which allowed them to operate.

Now he is trying to hire back a bunch of people he fired, because they are the ones who know how Twitter actually works. If I were one of those people, I'd offer to come back for $100,000 a month, with 12 months paid in advance ($1.2-million).

BTW, I have never had a Twitter account, but may join just so I can quit.

In amongst all the awful stuff he did since taking over he apparently closed the twitter accounts of all the women he had previous relationships with, plus a list of others, mostly women who had upset him over the years (I assume turned him down).
Ho Hum, what a nice man

It is officially election day here. Boris and Liz ain't got nothin' on our line-up of candidates.

“Since we don’t control the air, our good air decided to float over to China’s bad air, so when China gets our good air, their bad air got to move. So it moves over to our good air space. Then, now, we got we to clean that back up.”

Herschel Walker, Candidate for US Senate (Yes, he really said that, on live TV).

I can't say I am surprised in the slightest

I'm sure he knows, that the pollution in China is also that bad, because of the brilliant idea from a bunch of CEOs, to produce everything in china, to make more money and to safe their own local landscape.
Sadly most people don't know

Wicked case of insomnia tonight. It's one of those nights where my brain just won't SHUT UP!

I think it may be because I was in "the zone" on that big design project, and it got delayed.

I use Eckhart Tolle's advice..it works for me at times...

Yeah..He likes to pause between sentences..but, he has said a couple of things that stuck with me and help me deal with my overactive thoughts in the middle of the night..
