You should see some of the stuff used in food production. It'd put you off wanting to eat.

And you don't live in a country where there are minimal regulations which control food additives.

There's a difference between offputting practises and those that have been shown to be carcinogenic!

They do make their way into the food chain. None are off-putting practices, just everyday stuff used in food production.

Here we go again, you backtracking on what you said. On the previous page, your post # 3523, you did indeed say that such practices would put you off......hmm

If I lived in the Philippines I would receive increases every year. Brits living in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and of course here, do not. Thank you for being on my side but I'm afraid the situation will not change whoever is in power. Luckily the cost of living increases at the present time are minimal so it's not a major heartache. What is hurting is the -12% drop in the value of the Sterling over the last year.

With the way things are going I will probably be about 80 before I can collect a state pension if they still exist :o_o:

What is the retirement age in the UK, in order to be able to collect money and other benefits?

No backtracking, just clarifying that what's done or used isn't classed as a food additive.

A bit like yourself, and "mainly Teflon". Major change from non-stick foodware.

Don't eat organic, don't touch anything commercially farmed/produced as there's a chance of cancer(depending on who you want to believe), whichever you eat.

Don't use any iron based pans or cooking implements. Copper pans are out for similar reasons. Pyrex, risk of glass(hardened) fragments.

Wooden cooking implements can cross contaminate. Glues used in some are banned as household glues. Plastic ones, the release agents can kill. "Overdose" limit is that small you're actually advised to clean them before use. Usually with a liquid soap that has come from a plastic containter! What's the current news as regards these containers?

Farcical and inflammatory misrepresentation...never mind.

Calm down!

It's all a question of degree....none of what you compare it to here is in the same league, i.e. found to carcinogenic as PFOA has e.g. in non stick cookware.

What is carcinogenic about organic food? Are you feeling OK?
