That might have been for practical reasons. You need more room for a handicap toilet, and ladies' rooms are often larger.

bt, not being in the habit of making use of the mens rooms, don't they also have a stall for the handicap? I thought the law applied to both sexes.
Far more on 'ordinary' roads

Off slips - by the time you reach them you should have slowed anyhow
On slips - used at peak times when everybody is going slow.
On main carriageway - no.
I live just a few feet away from an on ramp to a major highway. Everybody is trying to get home. At 4:21 the traffic is at a standstill. at 4:20 it has started to move again. At 4:22 you hear the sirens from the fire station just up the street. They are the closest first responders that carry oxygen and the equipment to cut open the vehicle if necessary. Then comes the ambulance and police. Some idiot wasn't willing to wait his turn and tried to get onto the highway before his turn. This happens five days a week. You can set your clock by these idiots.

Some men's restrooms only have one stall but several urinals.

Now as to your idiots, Facebook has been a blessing in cutting down on our idiots.
Not wrecks though we have plenty of them, but cars drowning out when it rains.
There are several streets in town that flood when it rains. Before Facebook every idiot in town would take those roads. I have also seen people turn into a field of rushing water. Then get a stupid look on their face when they get stuck. Note: by that point you can't tell it is a field. It looks like a river or lake.
Now the news stations post on Facebook what streets to avoid and the fire department will charge for a rescue unless you have a very good reason to be on that street.

The last time I was on a bicycle was when I was pregnant with my fifth child. I was living in Aransas Pass, Texas and rode everywhere on that bike. Right up until the end of my seventh month. By then my stomach was too big to lift my leg for pedaling. It would bang against my stomach. Today, I now have a three wheeled scooter. It goes about seven miles per hour. I plug it in every night. I don't want to have to go slow. I often pass folks sitting on their front stoop getting some fresh air. They are often elderly. I usually stop (if I am just running an errand for myself) and talk to them. I leave them with a big smile. If I can't stop, I still pass them and leave a big smile for them. I am now known as that old lady with the scooter and cigarette. My scooter can go for up to 12 miles on one power up. I take full advantage of that fact.

:highfive: if only more people would leave smiles.

I love idiots. They gave me a reason to laugh at them. And they can't say anything anyway. Because they know they are idiots and deserve to be laughed at.

That's why I tell people, "If you see someone without a smile, give them yours." It's amazing what a smile and a cheery "Good Morning" can do for any person who is lonely or in a bad mood. You don't even have to know the person.

I agree completely, a smile costs nothing and can raise spiriits, unfortunately not everyone is the same, I have been glared at a few times just for smiling :meh:

Slap An Idiot Day.jpg

The 20th of January in Titus, Alabama.

I see Jamie Oliver's forum is closing down. The 3 posters will be devastated!

Less amusing I have just seen the news of the awful fire in London. That a modern building should go up like that is amazing - the early pictures look like a scene from the blitz. Terrible.
