Sega the Manchester terrier smells quite almondy too. I cuddle him and sniff his head. But his bedding does get a bit too whiffy...

I wash Sam's bedding every two months, when it's rain we put outside some tores up/towels to dry his paws before he comes into home. Sam has his personal things that I wash often (separately from our things of course). I also have always a packet of sanitizing unscented wet wipes..and we bring him to dog wash every 6 months..

Just before Christmas there was a raffle at work to raise money for Loros, someone won a wasgij and today he gave it to me. He wanted to give it on the day he won it but my husband asked him not to because he had already bought me 3 for Christmas. It has put a big smile on my tired face :happy:

I've just been coolbox shopping. Boy is that an eye opener in Australia. You can very easily spend for figures for one and not have change from a couple of grand!
Camping is a serious business here. And taking food for picnics and sports etc.

And we call them "Esky's" or "Eskies" - it's one of those things like "not all vacuum cleaners are Hoovers, but all Hoovers are vacuum cleaners" (well, not any more I think Hoover make everything now) :laugh:

@classic33
first of all I am rather amazed that you have some old Italian liras .. the man on the first banknotes is Giuseppe Verdi, the famous Italian composer and musician and 1000 Lire correspond today around 1 euro and 90 cents more or less. Those banknotes were in progress until the 80s, then they were replaced. The 500 liras of paper I think are still older or perhaps "same age" .. I remember them because in the 80s I was a child and I had the piggy bank with 500 pounds of paper.
Have you tried to get them evaluated?

I have all sorts of old back notes including Deutsch marks, francs, English one pound notes, some Indian rupees (worth more for their silver than their face value (due to their age)), Egyptian pounds (I think it's the pound), Finnish markka, old Irish punt and many others including I think some Cuban currency. Between the countries I have visited and what I have found in the road or on the pavement (which is quite surprising at the best of times) I have quite a curious collection of low value notes.

We have a large number of old coins including a few relics from all our trips and tourists ..

The Spanish Pesetas were available up until 1 / 1 / 2000 .. We exchanged the notes but we kept a few of the coins ..

There are Coin & Currency Markets all over Spain, the most famous at The Rastro ( flea market ) and the Madrid´s Plaza Mayor on Sundays ..

Fascinating what people collect or hold on to ..
