I can remember it snowing on my birthday once. My birthday is in late May and I lived in the south of England at the time, so we can't even blame the frozen north for that one.

Usual here - snow overnight now it's melting and will probably freeze tonight giving us our usual mix of dirty frozen slush which them begins to melt again producing a freezing soup of road grit mud and dirty water.

Very cold here .. A blistery two days .. Sunny, dry .. Similar to Alpine climate ..

7 a.m. 70 F. Rain started at 8 a.m. 12 p.m. still raining. Temp has dropped to 45 F. My joints are aching.

I don't know if I like you anymore It has warmed up to 20 F. It finally stopped snowing. I just heard that were expecting another 5-7 inches on Friday. Doesn't mother nature care that I have a 30 minute drive on Friday night to a cash game?

That is what you get for living in one of those northern M states. 3:15 pm - temp 40 F - rain reduced to an occasional drizzle. Real feel 30F.

Snow here last night and temperatures are very cold. But I don't mind - its warm in the house and I've no need to go out.

I forced myself to go to the produce market - fortunately less than a mile from home. Needed sweet onions, leeks and mushrooms. Sweat pants, gloves, scarf and a hoody jacket - hood up. I looked like the UnaBomber.

G went to my "Butcher in the Hood" and picked up beef short ribs. Braised beef short ribs for dinner tomorrow. He also brought home some Hog's Head Cheese.

Hey Peeps.

I just pulled breast fillets out of the deep freezer. I'm not inspired as yet.

A glass of icy cold Dolcetta & Syrah will help. It's been crazy hot the last few days and there's the threat of a decent thunderstorm in the next few hours. It's quite windy & cooling rapidly we've had no rain forever. My gardens are sad.



We've had snow here in late October early November before.
