I used to like jigsaw puzzles. I do not know why I gave them up. I must start again. :thankyou: for the reminder.

I googled it earlier and 500 seemed a lot so thought I would ask.

I am making mushroom soup from a recipe from a friend and got myself a bit confused with weights.

500 gms of mushrooms is definitely a lot. They don't weigh much each.- could possibly be 25 button mushrooms.

I have only used about 200gms and less stock but added a few too many puy lentils so it doesn't have a strong mushroom flavour. It is blended and we are leaving it to rest for a while so we will see what it tastes like.
