Years ago, like when DD was a toddler, we joined her father in Chicago around this time of year when he had to be there for business. It looked like Detroit Dad's picture when we got off the plane. Walked outside to go to the car and I thought I was going to freeze to death. After we got into the hotel room, I told her dad I wasn't stepping foot outside again until we left or the temperature took a drastic upturn.

I found a few You Tube videos featuring recipes from this Prison cookbook. The ingredients are found in a prison commissary or vending machines.. Definitely different.
 
On Friday we were shopping in Sainsburys and on the till next to us were 2 guys and 1 female. In their trolley they had: 6 pizzas, 1 big bottle of gin, numerous small bottles of tonic and 2 boxes of 12 beer cans. Intetesting evening :laugh:

:laugh: I love snooping into other people's shopping trolleys.
 
This morning the weather was butingly cold and very blustery. The sun came out, then we had a hail storm we now have blustery winds and snow!
 
It is bright and sunny on the east coast of Scotland. However, there is a cold breeze that is reducing the temperature by about ten degrees and the sun is generating about as much warmth as a frozen codball.
