I joined Instagram last weekend to follow a couple of comedians and some friends. Within about 10-15 minutes I had followers, didn't think too much if it until this evening, my followers are mostly men, I have no idea who they are so my husband blocked them. I block people on facebook and twitter. Ok, I choose to join these sites but I still want some control.
 
Due to a long standing issue with my ear, I have to go to the hospital regularly to get it checked and cleaned, I cannot have it syringed so they have to use suction. I was there this afternoon, there was a screen on the bench, it took a while to realise it was my ear I was seeing, I got to see the entire procedure in glorious technicolour :meh:

Right thing to give control. Sometimes I see new followers with strange profile, odd pics..no no thanks.
 
Last night we went to the monthly cheese club, 1 cheese looked like fudge, tasted like fudge. We were also given a piece of bread with a slice of the 'cheese' on top and lightly heated, it tasted of heated through fudge on toast, no one liked it so non was sold afterwards. We bought some blue cheese and a bottle of banana chutney.
 
I am just back from visiting the optometrist. As a result, my bank balance is somewhat diminished. I chose the pair of frames that I wanted and only after I had decided that they were just the ticket did I take a look at the little bits printed on the inside of the stems. It seems that I have acquired a pair of frames called Lucy. My partner gave me a very sideways look and said, "So even your glasses are called Lucy now."

Note to readers: "Lucy" was a character in my novel and "she" is the subject of amusement within this house, largely because she appeared in a dream I had a few months ago.

Folks in the village have contributed for an operation for this stray bitch. Why my stoep was chosen, I don't know.
