I'm afraid the only way to stop the thread growing would be to cut it off at the sauce source...
But that would just mean you'd be playing catch up with a new thread... but I could rename it to the Forth road bridge... but not that many of us would understand so it may not resemble the Forth road bridge at all. but at last then you'd have red read it all. (Isn't it still blue though? )

I'd rather see it stay as one thread. Maybe we can set a forum record. On my camping forum, we have one thread with close to 20,000 posts.
