So David Hasselhoff is working on a heavy metal record according to this article. Apparently he had a very successful musical career in Germany and he does have a nice voice but this music videos just make me laugh

 David, you forgot the panpipes. Puff up the panpipes! He has a studio processed cheesy sound, the music is awful and he looks like Liberace taking a stroll in his undies.
We have a saying here, when criticism is leveled at our favorite son...Don't Hassle The Hoff!

He's a national treasure, he is!

You know Hemulen the image of Liberace taking a stroll in his undies is jut brilliant! :roflmao:
"Is that your candelabra, or are you just happy to see me?"

I've put together my next Christmas-themed afternoon tea (providing I can get plates), scheduled for 15 Nov.

This time, however, I'm laying out a detailed plan of attack, to cut down on the last-minute craziness as much as possible.

What time on November 15? What's on the menu? Details, details!

I've decided to plan ahead, for a change. My menu plan for tomorrow. :chef:

We just attended a FB live stream wedding. There was plenty of food...it was all in my kitchen!

I know of a family of portuguese immigrants in Canada who livestreamed their weddings for the portuguese friends and family a couple years ago, but it was a "proper" wedding, with physical guests and food and dancing in Canada. From what I understood my friends will be marrying with only their children there. Let's see.

Just for fun

Funny story, a couple of years ago, my boss was an american based in Atlanta. It’s customary that when our foreign colleagues visit they bring us candy, so my boss asked if I wanted anything. I love smarties ( the EUROPEAN smarties!) and every airport in Europe sells these cool packages of smarties that come with awesome merchandise, so I said “yes, bring me smarties!”. He brought me a huge bag of american smarties which I don’t like. I’m a pretty straightforward person and he could tell the disappointment in my face and i had to tell him “ these are not smarties!” to which he replied “yes they are!”. We were both right. I bought him proper smarties which he said were chocolate M&Ms  You can tell why we dont work together anymore, no way things could have worked out after this:D jokes aside he was an awesome person and I miss him. He often came from the US carrying nail polish for me or the latest iPhone for my colleague.

When we lived in the U.K., I made cookies with plain (chocolate) M&Ms in them as a Boxing Day gift for the little estate agent's office that managed the house we leased (in those days, you had to go pay your rent each month in person).

I handed them over and one of the receptionists tried one and exclaimed, "Oh, Smarties!"

Jolly Ranchers. I haven't had any in years. They can be addicting. Those, and Jelly Belly jelly beans. Target has a huge dispenser so you can mix your flavors in one bag. They price them by the pound.
