My son has a braille message tattooed on each wrist in memory of my Mum (his gran) who went totally blind long before I was born. I used to be able to read braille but I've forgotten it all...

Perfect time to bake something. Get the place hot. ;-)There's a cold front in Portugal this week. Sad thing is portuguese houses are poorly built and they are hot in summers and cold in winter. I'm trying not to have the heater on all day because of the electricity bills but I'm wearing two pants, two pair of socks and a blanket and the minute I turn off the heat I'm freezing!
MrsT has one of those, and about a dozen other wraps, snugglies, body sacks, etc. to keep her warm.Perfect time to bake something. Get the place hot. ;-)
I bought myself an electric throw for Christmas. It's perfect for my legs because I have arthritis. So, my window is open (hot flashes) and my legs and feet are toasty. ;-0
This will make you laugh. I have a space heater AND fan in my room. I sleep with the window open (all year round) so I need the heater when I first get out of bed, but I ALWAYS sleep with the fan on. I thought it was just a white noise thing but I can't sleep when I just stream sleep music without the fan on. Women are weird! ;-0MrsT has one of those, and about a dozen other wraps, snugglies, body sacks, etc. to keep her warm.

Smart man. ;-0Dangerous to say anything so I'll leave a comment to others,
I've been cooking a lot of things in the oven lately but once the heat is waning off I am cold again My problem is I have poor blood circulation and my hands are always cold. Working from home I can cover most of my body but not my hands. I really miss the a/c in the office! My house is rented and I don't plan on living here many years otherwise I'd get one. I'm thinking of getting a gas heater.Perfect time to bake something. Get the place hot. ;-)

Have you been checked for anemia? I used to freeze constantly when I had anemia. Maybe ask your doctor about it?I've been cooking a lot of things in the oven lately but once the heat is waning off I am cold again My problem is I have poor blood circulation and my hands are always cold. MrsT has to have a fan on, no matter the weather, to sleep. We've had some interesting experiences in overseas locations explaining why, in mid-December, we need a fan sent up to the room. This will make you laugh. I have a space heater AND fan in my room. I get blood work done every year and I don't have anemia...I really don't know how I get like this. Once we get back to the office I'll be better again In the meantime I need to make amends with the fact that my electricity bills will be higher in the winter if I don't want to freezeto death.Have you been checked for anemia? Can you get a window unit A/C? You can move it with you.
I hope the gas heater works out for you.
I also don't want you to freeze to death.I get blood work done every year and I don't have anemia...I really don't know how I get like this.
