Below average tempreratures in North Texas all week. Around 90F to 93F (@33C).

As I type this, a pop-up rain shower just... popped-up. Nice heavy rain, too. I still have only run my sprinkler system twice in 2021. Normally in summer, I run it twice per week, and hand water my herbs almost every day. I only had to hand water about once per week this summer. Rain has been enough.

Made it to Orlando, no problem. Got in a little ahead of time because of a medical emergency onboard, so the pilot burned rubber..., er...air?...to get us down in a hurry.

No sign of any bad weather really, just a little wet and overcast. Are you all sure a hurricane came through here?

We're staying in a quirky old boutique hotel, The Edgewater. You have to call an employee to work the elevator, because you actually have to work the elevator; I think she said it dates back to 1926.

One one of my neighbors has a newborn, so the entire neighborhood is blessed everyday with the sound of a crying baby.

Thankfully, the baby either sleeps very well or my window blinds are great at blocking the sound, I never hear the baby at night
