Started the first of what will likely be several shovelings - I’d rather shovel two inches six times than 12 inches once.

We’ve got about 1.5 inches so far, and it’s light and powdery, so it wasn’t too bad. I like shoveling snow when it’s like that. Still coming down, though, so I’ll likely do it once more before bedtime.
Yup. That's how we'd do it too. But most of Ohio snow is coming down south of Rt. 30 or up on Lake Erie this time...Akron is spared for now.

Wilmington seems to always be right on the line for our area - we either go no snow or all of it.

Only things shoveled around here is animal poop! 🤣

…and I like how our resident Canadian loved my post! :highfive:
I’m kinda jealous, you’re getting all the good weather! We’ve had a couple snowfalls, but then the temp rises, it rains, and it all melts.

We’re lucky we had a white Christmas this year for actual Christmas AND when we ended up celebrating Christmas (yesterday). White Christmases are getting rarer and rarer here.

I’ll take the snow.

In addition to the chicken, pig, and cow 💩 at our own house…and my grandparents’ house…Dad hired me out for three years mucking out horse stables at a nearby horse farm.

Give me that sweet, sweet snow every time!

Second shoveling:

And by the time I finished 45 minutes later, it was like this:

It’s coming down as fast as I can shovel now, so I’m done until the morning.

Started on the shoveling this morning:

Then I called into to the doc’s office as soon as they opened…all appointments cancelled, so now there’s no urgency. I’ll do it in steps.

Total snowfall so far is seven inches, with another three projected by the end of the day. County has issued a “Level 2” travel advisory, which is “Necessary travel only, but really you need to stay home, dumbass.”
