There was a murder less than a block from my workplace yesterday.
The good news is that they arrested the guy today, so that’s a relief for everyone in the area.

The delivery guy was happy as larry to be delivering it. He likes cold smoking so much he knocked through into his fireplace from an outside wall so he could cold smoke salmon and trout, he was so excited for my purchase he offered to stay and help set it up

Brother and niece stopped by to get our old car for her. For once, transferring ownership, titling, and registering the car over to her went off without a hitch. Usually it’s a huge PITA that takes multiple trips, as the county officiants whimsically decide which documents you need to complete everything (and there’s always one you don’t have) - “Oh, I’m sorry…you need your great-grandmother’s twice removed cousin’s original paperwork from when they first settled in the Ohio Valley in 1799…you do have that, yeeesssss?”

Yer there was only 50 quid difference between the usual and the large and I thought I could do strings of sausage or whole leg of lamb more easily in the slightly larger one. Same footprint just a bit taller
