What’s the next kitchen item you plan to buy (2025)?

Got my new "potato browner..."

I’m thinking about getting a devilled egg plate or platter.
Anyone got one?
I had one, a very nice one, but then I thought it was rather…stupid on my part to have a dish for exactly one specialized item and nothing else taking up storage space, so I gave it to Goodwill several years ago.

Have to make enough eggs to fill the plate!!!

Know what you mean but they slide all over the place and sometimes the eggs can look lop sided.
Was thinking about getting one so I could take some up to my sons on Monday.

But I’ve just seen a DIY version where you turn a cardboard egg tray upside down and use a sheet of foil to cover it and make the dips for the eggs to rest in so I might do that 🤔
Not sure though. I wouldn’t mind a container with a lid because devilled eggs and clingfilm aren’t the best of friends 🤷‍♀️

Just bought these today at Sam’s Club:

I had some of those for a long time. The only problem I had with them was that after being put in the dishwasher time and again, the seal around the lids came loose on most of them. It was a different brand though so hopefully you won't have the same issue. Or, if you handwash the lids it may never happen!

I've got 2, one's larger 24 spaces) and the other half that, but actually both are too large for just me and my OH these days. If you have the room to store it, no reason not to have one. It really used to come in handy when having family dinners but those are few and far between these days now that are grown children have mostly moved away and the in-laws have passed.

I have a large pantry so they are up on the top shelf with other serving platters. I do break them out once or twice a year when another family member throws a party, because most everyone loves deviled eggs!

I had GlassLock brand and never an issue. Eventually, 12+ years, the locking flaps started to tear at the rotation point but they still seal well enough for daily fridge use. All I ever used them for.

That’s why I keep looking and not buying because a lot of the time I’d need a 24+ holed one and other times I’d want something much smaller.
