Enjoy!
That's fascinating!
Very nice. I like glass food containers much more than plastic.
I had one, a very nice one, but then I thought it was rather…stupid on my part to have a dish for exactly one specialized item and nothing else taking up storage space, so I gave it to Goodwill several years ago.I’m thinking about getting a devilled egg plate or platter.
Anyone got one?
I've had those (GlassLock Brand) for 10+ years! They're very durable.
Have to make enough eggs to fill the plate!!!I had one, a very nice one, but then I thought it was rather…stupid on my part to have a dish for exactly one specialized item and nothing else taking up storage space, so I gave it to Goodwill several years ago.
Know what you mean but they slide all over the place and sometimes the eggs can look lop sided.I had one, a very nice one, but then I thought it was rather…stupid on my part to have a dish for exactly one specialized item and nothing else taking up storage space, so I gave it to Goodwill several years ago.
I had some of those for a long time. The only problem I had with them was that after being put in the dishwasher time and again, the seal around the lids came loose on most of them. It was a different brand though so hopefully you won't have the same issue. Or, if you handwash the lids it may never happen!
I've got 2, one's larger 24 spaces) and the other half that, but actually both are too large for just me and my OH these days. If you have the room to store it, no reason not to have one. It really used to come in handy when having family dinners but those are few and far between these days now that are grown children have mostly moved away and the in-laws have passed.I’m thinking about getting a devilled egg plate or platter.

I had GlassLock brand and never an issue. Eventually, 12+ years, the locking flaps started to tear at the rotation point but they still seal well enough for daily fridge use. All I ever used them for.I had some of those for a long time. That’s why I keep looking and not buying because a lot of the time I’d need a 24+ holed one and other times I’d want something much smaller.I've got 2, one's larger 24 spaces) and the other half that, but actually both are too large for just me and my OH these days. I have a large pantry so they are up on the top shelf with other serving platters. I do break them out once or twice a year when another family member throws a party, because most everyone loves deviled eggs!
