They’re mainly just mini fan ovens with a holey basketWife came home today with a brand new mini-oven, pizza wotsit, toaster and (AARRGGHH!!) airfryer, all combined into one.
So I suppose I'm going to have to learn how to "air-fry"
Emeril Lagasse™ Power AirFryer 360™ - Support Emeril EverydayThe main difference between the convection toaster oven, which I have, & the air frier, that I also have, is that the air IS moved around in the oven by a small fan with blades. The air frier uses a more powerful fan & a stronger heating element that moves super-heated air more rapidly in the unit, cooking & browning the food much faster. In some cases, it is almost like a rotisserie, but can be used to roast small roasts & small whole or cut up chickens giving you the best of both worlds!!
Looks like a useful product. The issue for me that my wife doesn't allow things like that on the counter. They have to be put away when not being used. This isn't like a toaster or blender in that regard. It took a long time but I did convince her that the coffee makers could stay on the counter. I explained how easy it is to spill the water in them.Emeril Lagasse™ Power AirFryer 360™ - Support Emeril Everyday
Mine is 9-in-1. It's an air fryer, convection oven, rotisserie, toaster, dehydrator, etc. The thing is, it's advertised that you can bake a 10 lb chicken in it. That's not true. You can fit about a 6 lb bird in it. It also states you can rotisserie a 4-6 pound bird in it, but I don't think that's true, either, and again, it's hard to find a small bird that will fit in it. So I have never used the rotisserie in it, but if I did, I think I would try a Cornish game hen. The issue with this is that I would have to be cooking just for myself because that's not going to feed both of us. But otherwise it's a very handy appliance to reduce clutter n the kitchen counter since I don't have to have a toaster, air fryer, etc. taking up space. And it's really handy when I am broiling/baking something small and don't want to heat up my entire kitchen by using the big oven.
Understood. That would work well if you had a large enough space to store it. It isn't terribly big and isn't heavy at all. I have a lot of counter space so it works out fine for us. My husband is known to be a bit cluttery so he doesn't care, LOL!Looks like a useful product. The issue for me that my wife doesn't allow things like that on the counter. I have the Ninja 10 in 1 for the same reason, unfortunately my range oven and previous small oven died at the same time and the Ninja is such a good oven I don't know if I'm ever going to get to grips with my new range that arrived the same week! Hey ho, Christmas will be interestingAnd it's really handy when I am broiling/baking something small and don't want to heat up my entire kitchen by using the big oven.

Nope, I ordered it online and didn't have any of the hassles you mentioned. I buy stuff all the time online and have never had anything like that happen to me. Sorry that they tried to screw you. Also, I got free shipping with my order.JAS_OH1, I sincerely hope that you bought this oven in a store. Because to get it online or on the phone, they throw in a ton of extra stuff, then they offer you something for so-called free, then they frigging charge you for separate processing & handling!! That is how they get people. Bate & switch!! That is why I get stuff from Amazon or go straight to the store, such as Target or Walmart. I bought my Oster Convection Toaster Oven straight from Oster. No extra charges for extra so-called free stuff!!

But if they are advertising it, then saying that you get a free item, then turn around & say " just pay a separate fee, then it ain't for free. Born at night, NOT LAST NIGHT!!!!
