What are you wearing today (2025)?

Thank you for assuaging my bruised sense of style. They were…<checks with MrsT>…$109 on sale. Apparently, Orthofeet have a sale every three-and-a-half days.
Do they have slip-ons? Do they sell them anywhere but online, and if only online, do they have a free return policy?

My DH has arthritis in his feet from years as an insurance adjustor, and though he wears his crocs inside the house mostly, when he doesn't the tile floors do a number on his feet. And he needs something nice for taking walks this spring when the weather improves, though I must say yours look too nice to get mucked up in the park. Might be nice birthday presents for him if I get him a few different styles.

Yes, I’ve seen slip-ons, and I do think you can find them in places like The Good Feet Store (probably for a hefty markup), and they do have a free return policy.

I like that they’re very comfortable and not too too expensive, and that they’re quite light (I don’t like heavy shoes if it can be helped), but it also means I wear the soles out on these fairly quickly.

Both MrsT and I buy them. This is my fourth pair and she’s had probably six or eight pairs by now.

Thanks! Yeah, Brian's mom and his stepdad had gone to that Good Feet store and it was crazy expensive they said. So that's a hard pass, but I will be checking them out online. Orthofeet.com? I gotta run to work shortly but I will look later. Thanks again.

I mentioned my ultra-cool and hep orthopedic shoes a little while ago. They arrived yesterday:

Smooooov!

Perhaps you think they look bad because you know they’re orthopaedic? Cos to me they look good. I’m not sure what you’d rather be choosing over them for running about in? Some natty little dance number? 😂

Thanks - They look decidedly like “old man shoes” - and I’d have rather worn my Timberland dress boots, like these but a shade or three lighter (and have dress soles, of course):

…but those are now far too narrow for my feet, and I would have to positively prance around in them, saying “Ow! Ow! Ouch! Ow!” the entire time - but I’d look a million bucks doing it, trust me!

I got my Orthofeet shoes on Amazon and they weren't on sale. They were $160 and I had a job standing up 8 hours so waiting for, or looking, for a sale wasn't an option. I needed them yesterday and glad I found them. A bit dusty from today but best shoes I've purchased in a minute.

Ah yes well I can see the appeal. They are very similar to the sort of motorcycle boots that are popular now.
Maybe you can have some when you get your scooter, I mean it’s not like anyone wants to walk anywhere in motorcycle boots!

I wondered if you’ve tried the german brand Josef Siebel TastyReuben ?
So far as I can tell they only do comfortable shoes, Ive never had a bum pair from them (and I’ve had a fair few).
They’re my absolute favourite brand for the airport to feel good and be able to walk a distance with luggage in comfort.
They sometimes do good mens boot. Not quite as sharp as what you’ve posted but close.
Mind you they also do some old style Euro stuff that makes stomach churn a bit 😂
