Chicken tikka with a roti and some grass. Very tasty.

I have some left over for a small portion of tikka masala tomorrow.
Grass? Wheatgrass? Or just a slang name for green veg/salad? (I am assuming nothing...er...involving getting high!)

Just anything green (or even red).

[Not meat or potatoes]

Ah yes - I knew it was something! It's been a while since I last made bread because there is a good local artisan bakery that does variations of sourdough bread, e.g. French and - more recently - seeded (which is fantastic!)
Sourdough bread makes really great toast I find. :toast: (Not that I have a toaster!)

We don't have a toaster either, just use the grill.

Looks good, morning glory...
I am just having grilled, marinated chicken breast on a garden salad, with balsamic vinaigrette....2 pilsner and a shot of potato vodka...

I'm so excited by the quality of images on my new smart phone! I think my Pentax might go into retirement. It was a delicious dish - the house had that 'good fish restaurant' aroma.

What did you marinate the chicken in? And I could do with some of that vodka right now...

Dinner tonight was one slice of Tarte owt of Lente (an Elizabethan cheese tart)

followed by sautéed potatoes, butternut squash, green beans and tomatoes with onion, garlic, black pepper and chopped carrot tops (the photo's a bit blurred because it was still cooking, and there was plenty of steam!)

Afters was a bowl of semolina pudding.

Chicken was marinated in olive oil, garlic, shallot, oregano, basil, pepper, and red pepper flakes....give it a quick char on the out door grill and slice it up...
I may marinate myself in the rest of the potato vodka...
