What did you cook or eat today (April 2020)?

Nothing fancy here, just a good old cauliflower cheese. With a bit of tomato and mushroom for a bit of excitement.

Ham salad sarnie.


That looks good. Here "ham salad" is an entirely different thing, more in the family of tuna salad and chicken salad, finely minced with mayo, mustard, pickles, and celery, and used for sandwiches or spread on crackers.
 
I go back to '67 and my first big job to the west of Leeds. The local bread shop (probably what would now be called a deli) provided our lunches which were predominantly ham salad in baguette. The contents were as above although sometimes with cucumber and/or sliced boiled egg.

Similar to this, albeit this is a smaller version.
