So I had a cooking afternoon...

Vegan Ghormeh Sabzi with Baked Persian Saffron Rice with barberries.

Uncooked Rice dish. I forgot to find the saffron up before I put it on to steep. Oh well. It s still tastes great, just wasn't as yellow as normal (but I also included the egg whites this time to see what difference it made, if any, usually the recipe just uses the yolks).

And part way through cooking the stew (before the Persian dried limes were added).

Hickory Farms. Thanks. Now I have to change my shirt. I turned in to drooling Homer Simpson there for a few seconds. That bacon and cheddar cheese is amazing in a hash brown casserole. That sausage is great. Didn’t see any in the grocery store this past holiday season.
