Yesterday evening's cottage pie. Same for dinner today, no energy to cook.

I suppose DH is starting to feel better.
He asked for "something substantial to eat" for dinner.
So, what do you want?
"Something easy for you to make."
Pasta?
"YES!"

My version of Cacio e pepe with Anchovies fillets on top, a small side Salad and all I heard was,
"MMM, MMM, MMM!"
And I made sure to have some leftover plain cooked pasta with just some Olive Oil tossed through it doesn't clump together, for later, caseydog

Love the fact there are so many anchovies in that pasta!

A wrap using some of the leftover smoked turkey, bacon, avocado, lightly dressed spring mix salad, tomatoes, and cheddar cheese.

I always have tortillas handy for just such a thing. Most of the burritos I make are prepackaged leftovers, and they’re always great.

DH is nuts for Anchovies!
I just received 6 more small jars that I ordered online ... maybe I should have ordered more.
He prefers the ones that are from Italy and I can't buy those here in Cowboyville, so ...

Since I didn't get home until gone 3pm, and have things to do at home (chook and garden related), I decided on a simple evening meal and pulled some of my Warrigal Greens and Sheep's Sorrel pesto out of the freezer.

Pasta, pesto and peas for evening meal and yes, I love peas.... that's 4tsps of pesto spread out by the way. Not enough to cover all of the protein pasta spirals, but still very tasty. Luckily we're not visiting anyone tomorrow because the garlic is still punching a good punch.
