Seafood chowder! It's actually very quick and easy to make if anyone can be tempted to try it!

Yesterdays lunch with friends. Pumpkin soup with proja muffins. Stuffed cold roast chicken, beetroot and feta salad, cabbage salad. Pear frangipane tart and sour cream. We were having so much fun I forgot to take more pic. The chicken looks a bit Elephant man because I loosened the breast skin and pushed loads of the stuffing up over the breasts.

The chowder posts are KILLING ME.
It’s not quite soup weather here, though we don’t seem to be having much proper summer weather either.

We’ve been having some chicken tikka masala at my place also, after I threw down a challenge for my non cooking partner and his comments about the labour required to produce meals.

Of course, he cooked just a curry & rice so I threw together the sides with him helping) when I got home. He did a great job on the curry with a few calls and texts for advice. That’s a raspberry & rose lassi, a coriander mint yogurt raita & a salad with chaat masala. The roti are from Aldi & are fantastic.

The tart looks amazing. Did you serve it with custard or ice cream?
