This place opened been open for less than a year and each time that we dine-in or take-out, you can see the improvements.

I thought I grabbed Mahi Mahi filets out of the freezer but it turned out to be grouper (which i like even more). I seasoned with lemon pepper and drizzled olive oil and butter on them, then topped with panko and parmesan before baking. Served over seafood and veggie pasta. Oh my, so delicious!

It's a federal holiday here in Japan and I had a request for mushroom tarts again, this time I only made small ones and took some photos.

One set are with winter melon (kabocha) + roasted garlic and thyme, the other set were with sweet potato, cream, a pinch of cumin and crushed walnuts both with oven roasted tomatoes and smoked salt. They are really nice, and just 20 minutes start to finish.

They look stunning.

Lunch. Mixed lettuce (lots of), grated carrot & mayo, tomato, cucumber, spring onion, green beans, red pepper, avo, boiled eggs, fried tofu, aubergine, cauliflower, some left over brown basmati rice.

Need to work out how to make my salads smaller. Hubby complained... I might get him to make, no scrub that idea. I actually want to eat something for lunch... (he's actually a good cook but salad isn't something he's good at because he needs a recipe to follow and oddly these salads haven't got a recipe...)

I was in Australia 23 years ago and saw the Works Burger for the first time..I had never seen and egg or beet root on a burger before...now, egg is quite common here...beet root hasn't really caught on, though..
Mate, we love it so much even aged rockers (Cosmic Psychos) wax lyrical about a perfect Australian day at the pub, drinking beer and eating the stuff (verse 2).

We eat it beets here, although in different ways..not so much as an ingredient to anything, though..we make a relish out of them and also just pickle them...so, they are eaten like a pickle on the side of our main meal..we've got a bout two dozen jars of home made stuff in the basement..the jar comes out of the fridge at least once a week..I'm a big Radio Birdmen fan..well, used to be..
