We got our ears pierced, kid and I, the classical way, and ran some errands and for lunch we had (store bought) sarma and fries (she), chicken schnitzel (I peeled most of the panco coating) and rosti bites (grated potato patties), with mixed salad, various greens and radicchio.

got some beuaitful tulips.

breakfast was quickly cooked oats and 20 g of dark chocolate melted in.

will cook a celeriac potato soup and broccoli garlic sauce over pasta or rice today.

A hot needle and a cork? That's serious old school.

CD
oh noooo :) it looked like a small pistol and the sterile earring were inside and shot out simultaneously with the pierce. it was quick and easy, painless.literally a second of time. i do not think i would agree to a hot needle and a cork, not for me, and especially not for my kid.

i meant the position. you know it is very common to have 3,4,5 earrings all over the ear, we just had one, in the msot traditional spot.

Bacchus sarnie today consisting of bread cake, garlic butter, smoked salmon trout, sliced cucumber, green and red oak grass, more smoked salmon trout, lime juice, freshwater prawns fried in garlic butter and Marie Rose sauce.

I'm currently persevering with producing the .gif of building it but I'm getting tired (and I haven't eaten it yet - 15:50).

Once again, you made me do some searching. Salmon Trout are what we call Steelhead Trout here. Green and Red Oak lettuce is something I'd never heard of. I looked at some pictures, and it looks like what I've seen called Baby Lettuce here.

Red oak lettuce: Red Oak Leaf Lettuce (US website)

That was one of the web pages I found on my search. It is not a common variety of lettuce that I've seen at the local grocery store, at least not under that name. It looks familiar, but the name is new to me.

Red oak and green oak are available and popular here almost all year round. Unfortunately, Iceberg is available for around a week/year (and very expensive).

This is what my Kroger has for red leaf lettuce, I buy both frequently:

I don’t know if either are red oak lettuce, but there they are. They also have the same in green leaf varieties.
