It seems they are just a pile of whatever is in the fridge at the time, between two slices of bread.
…and always that olive on a toothpick. I remember being a kid and reading the Sunday comics, reading Blondie, and thinking that was the weirdest/funniest thing of all, putting an olive on a toothpick and sticking it into his sandwich.

for lunch some bruschette with garlic, diced tomatoes, feta and tuna
for this evening's dinner I prepared this morning pork cheeks braised in pressure cooker...I hope I'll remember to take a pic before eat it  (I'll match it with mashed potatoes)

The liter to gallon part is easy, it's the ever changing currency rate that's problematic.

I remember back in the 70s when Coca-Cola changed the size of bottles to the metric system. It stuck in my head for some reason. A litre (liter) = 33.8 ounces, which is just over a quart (32 ounces). There are 4 quarts in a gallon, so it's simple math.

They look delicious. What is in the sauce?
On the meat I put salt pepper honey and strong mustard, in the pot carrot onion garlic and parsley, than a glass of wine, bay leaf and rosemary. At the and I take away the herbs, put apart the meat and pass the rest in the mixer with some whole milk

Is that fresh pork cheek? The same portion that Guanciale comes from?
