What did you cook or eat today (February 2025)

Lunch was eaten out.

It was considerably better tasting that it looks.
All vegan, from different parts of the international food festival in Canberra.

Various for both of us.

I made an odd dish of black chickpeas, tomatoes, ground beef, Sri Lankan curry powder and some more spices.
It was surprisingly tasty
4 portions to the freezer and I remembered to label the bags

Yesterday'' spaghetti al la Norma (tomato sauce with roast aubergines/eggplants) and mozzarella

Haven't eaten anything yet today. It's not even 8am!

Today's Pork tenderloin tikka massala and homemade nan bread, because I didn't have chicken in my freezer ( thought I did!). Was still very tasty.

Extra large smoked steak with garlic butter, mash potato, Pommery mustard followed up with a vegan Magnum. Now beached

I haven't eaten yet, but I made the dough for my pumpernickel bread this morning and I've boiled some eggs to make deviled eggs. Smoked turkey slices are thawing to make nachos tonight. I've got to run out to get water chestnuts for my cold spinach dip later. Breakfast at 3 maybe. Snacks start at 6:30.
