What did you cook or eat today (February 2025)

Hubby decided I needed more than a salad today. I'm got a bad cold and feel yuck.

I can show you how I do some of my dishes if you want. I have a couple recipes on this forum, somewhere.

You mentioned Italian cooking. I've perfected my Alfredo sauce for a long time. Making pasta is also easy.
Your version of Alfredo sauce would be welcomed by me. It’s not something I was ever into because over here white sauces are mostly viewed as unhealthy (due to a love of butter and cream I suspect) so everything veers towards tomato based sauces.
But I’m ready, let’s hear it! Please 😂
 
I made beef burgers with sauteed garlic mushrooms & onions, roast potatoes and green beans.
After surgery I will eat a low fibre diet for at least six weeks, which rules out mushrooms, veggie & fruit peels etc again so I am enjoying what I still can. Indian vegetarian restaurant visit tomorrow! ❤️

I made homemade blueberry muffins again using sourdough discard. I gave all but 2 of the last batch away so I figured I had better bake some more. I ate one, just as good as last time!

I used a cookie sheet for my cooling tray after pulling them out of the muffin tins, in caes you were wondering.

Darn! I thought you were baker extraordinaire! 😲

Good idea. I don't use my muffin tin anymore since I can't find the large paper liners and I refuse to pay what Amazon wants. I got a silicone one that although not large works without extra parts.
