We had free milk at school, I still love it today. We get through a 2 litre every 5 days approx.

When hubby and I could drink milk, we'd get through a 2L container every day. Coffee, milk and water were the only things I could drink. I loved milk. Preferred raw milk but I was happy with whole milk. Not homogenized though. If I found get it farm fresh I would and I always had it delivered to the door by a milkman.

Now it's just black coffee and water...

Following on from that there's a gap in photos, so I guess it wasn't that interesting :whistling:

Lunch a couple of days ago... an experiment. The first time I've made rice rolls.

Lunch today, the remains of the red glutinous rice made into a roll.

So other than my vegan tasting menu meal out on the 30th, that's me up to date...

I'll add the images and rename them shortly. I'm to ring my mother in 20 minutes for the weekly phone call.

It was stunning. I've added the menu (I'll rotate the substitutions menu in a moment). One of the mains had to be pulled over from the a'la carte menu to keep everything dairy free for me but they went out of their way to help and wow, it was fantastic. It really was. I'd happily go back and eat exactly the same thing again, if only I could.
