Finally I got the pictures from Saturday´s dinner. Pork Vindaloo; Chicken Makhani (Butter Chicken); Shrimp Kerala; Potatoes and tomatoes with coconut; Chole (Chickpeas, Punjabi-style); Carrots with Yoghurt Sauce; Baingan ka Salaan (Hyderabadi Eggplant with peanuts & coconut - no picture); homemade mango chutney, naan and Basmati rice.

That looks stunning. I've googled chole, as I have chickpeas around...very curious...thank you for sharing.

Inspired by SatNavSaysStraightOn I actually had my first try at an almond feta, vegan cheese.
This recipe is from Yupitsvegan website.

Peeling the almonds was fun in a way, daughter helped out, and we chatted away, there is always some ?she did this, he asid this==' that I need to listen to and give my perspective on...fine, as long as she is well and healthy. we are blessed. hse has no fever since sunday and is feeling well. both our schools areo nline so work is not suffering.

Tastes amazing, the lemon is so myysterious combined with garlic and onion. Do not know why but it evokes a travel back in time and is very rustic, which <i love. Anaways, the texture I need to work on, I doubt if the lemon juice is rightly the only liquid in there, as it was very thick...mind you, I have no proper blender, I used a very humble purreing stick mixer or cane mixer, I forget the proper name.

Definitely will do again, both my daughter and I loved it, it is as if one cannot get enough. I was wrong in thinking she would not even try it, she did and enjoyed it.

Garlicky breath is of no concern, we are in quarantine until beginning next week...so that is perfect...but it was not that strong even, as it is baked...oh and I baked much longer than written, went by looks and intuition. It is my oven.
