What did you cook or eat today (January 2023)?

Jacket potatoes I made last week. I've filled them with scamorza cheese, cherry toms and a sprinkled of dried oregano.
Yes- I've also munched the toothpick I forgot to remove.

I finally had a "free day to myself"!
I cooked off a batch of homemade Char Siu that I made marinating in the ice box

Did a coupla "cheat" meals for lunch for us two.
I had other things I wanted to get done today.

DH had the canned Smoked Oysters (I'm allergic) and was in piggy heaven!
I went for another of the frozen meals that I bought for my Mother, meh, not so much, but it kinda sorta filled my empty tummy.

Now, for you purists, I have it on good authority that this particular shepherd did indeed develop quite the friendship with his fuzzy charges, and that’s why his particular pie was meatless, but still delicious. 🐑 🥧
