I don't think I've ever had lentil soup. I want to try it. It looks like I'll like it. But it keeps getting put off.
This was very good, indeed: onions, carrots, celery, garlic, some vegetable broth, a can of diced tomatoes, lentils, and a few herbs, that’s it.I don't think I've ever had lentil soup. I want to try it. It looks like I'll like it. But it keeps getting put off.
I saw this on sale and bought it for my Mother, it never made it to her place...
I had this for lunch today, meh, I wouldn't bother with it again.
The ground beef was more like cat food and dry to boot!
AND I'm still hungry!!!
You’re not going to like the one I post tomorrow at all, then…it’ll be made with lentils!I'm sorry if I'm being pedantic but Shepherd's Pie is made with lamb. A similar dish but made with beef is a Cottage Pie.

It´s a common misconception, especially in countries where lamb is not eaten that much. The name Shepherd's Pie has become a catch-all name these days, at least here. People make Chili and Gumbo out of just about anything, too
If you live in Texas and make chili with beans that will get you shot. Apparently they feel very strongly about putting beans in chili. The name Shepherd's Pie has become a catch-all name these days, at least here. People make Chili and Gumbo out of just about anything, too.

Chili with beans is not authentic "Texas Red". I can take it either way.
