Honey Butter is a favorite topping for American Biscuits, which are similar to scones. Does anyone do that in the UK? It's just honey and butter mixed -- a compound butter.

It is very popular in Texas. A couple of restaurants are famous for it... Texas Roadhouse (a steakhouse chain) and Whataburger. I keep some in the fridge all the time to spread on toast or American biscuits.

Here is a copycat recipe for the Texas Roadhouse version (metric measures).

Yes, I ride horses as a hobby. Little bit of dressage and a little bit of jumping. Currently taking it slow since I’m still rehabbing my hand that I broke in a fall last Aug.
