Did these pies in individual pie dishes so they can be reheated faster.

You can’t tell from the dark pic but it’s Blueberries in a strawberry sauce (because that’s what needed using up).
For a change I cut the fruit into small pieces and added them to the strawberry compote when it was cold to retain the lovely texture of the blueberries.
Added an extra little jug of compote for reloading the Panna Cotta if wanted, which it was.
Would definitely do the extra fruit again.
Also no-one could tell it was dairy free which is a big win!
Mr SSOAP asked if he could have it again on his birthday, which pleased me greatly, I wanna do a little dance, small effort for big reward, my favourite 💃 😂
Bitterballen sounds interesting. That must be one thick stew!We had a "borrel & babbel"

You’re passing out apples like the greengrocer, so I gave you one…and bitterballen sound scrumptious!Windigo I'm sure you've had them and I always wonder why they didn't spread world wide as everyone seems to like them
I made bitterballen at home, cheating a little by using minced meat
Belgium has it's big brother ( kroketten) too, but yeah it's odd to me too. Especially cheese bitterballen seem universally likeable.Windigo I'm sure you've had them and I always wonder why they didn't spread world wide as everyone seems to like them

That's very apple of you.I think SatNav said she had to refresh the reaction emojis to get something else worked out, and now that apple is included in the standard set - it apparently is granted when you find someone’s post to be particularly useful (like this post right now, hint hint… ).
