I love doing these Mason Jar Salads, wet stuff on the bottom & dry at the top.
Black Olives, Cuc, sliced Deli Ham, Bacon Crumbles, diced Tomatoes, sliced Green Onion, a mix of Romaine, Iceberg and Green Cabbage.
Croutons and Ranch dressing on the side.

Didn't photograph well, but on the bottom is my version of a Loaded Pasta Salad (Mini Bow Tie Pasta, Carrots, Celery, Red Bell Pepper, Sweet White Onion, thinly sliced Hard Salami, halved Black & Green Sicilian Olives, grated Parm and Olive Garden brand bottled Salad Dressing with freshly ground Black Pepper, dried Oregano, Parsley) with chopped Iceberg Lettuce on top.

Mom will love these. She loves loads of "goodies" in her salads...

I tried that olive garden dressing and I couldn't wear shoes for 3 months after I tasted it. I have no idea how that item sells being that salty.

I've never tried it from the jar, only in the restaurants. Seems like a little extra olive oil and/or red wine vinegar could fix that. But keep in mind that sometimes people of a certain age (elderly) have a dulling of the taste buds and they like an increase in salty/sweet flavors in particular. I'm sure this doesn't happen with everyone but for some.
 
Had some steamed chicken left over and a request for chicken soup.
Had frozen some pizza bases from the left over dough on pizza evening, used a couple to make the accompanying garlic bread.

The orange crockery is certainly growing on me. It does rustic very well and the way the stoneware retained the heat on the edges of the soup was very good.

I can't recall if I posted this already, so please forgive me if I did...
I had some sliced Italian Bread that needed using up.
Pizza bread, very tasty.
DH got upset saying that I best not think that this will replace REAL homemade Pizza

Maybe because I don't cook with any salt, I add to taste after the dish is going on the table, I've never noticed this commercial dressing being salty

I only ever had Church's once when driving to Florida on vacation. None up in my area. :sad:
