Roast potatoes , crayfish & avocado salad with whiskey cocktail dressing
 
Left over potjie from yesterday
Vinegar pickled cucumber
Lacto fermented onions
Sourdough
And cider (unfortunately not homemade this time)
Lacto fermented onions!!! I can't wait for it to get warm here; nothing ferments well in the winter. By the time all the produce arrives from afar there's not much alive on it to start with except the bad bugs.
 
I'm not much of a tomato soup person but if you made it from scratch i know its amazing. And that sandwich, oh hell yes!
Is it the taste of tomatoes you don't like? This soup is incredibly smooth, no sharp/acidic tomato taste at all.
