Pork chop with onion gravy, spuds from the garden and veggies. I was very happy.

The butter is parsley, thyme, and garlic. I made the big toasty crouton at the last minute to soak up the beef juice. Salad was just tomato (red and yellow), cucumber, red onion, some fancy Italian seasoning, vinegar, oil, and a few tiny basil leaves.

It's just a sweet fruit wine, good for an aperitif or with dessert. This part of the country seems to specialize in fruit wines. We drink a lot of them. I have a cherry wine waiting, and we drank a lot of cranberry wine over Christmas, and we just drank a bottle of blueberry wine a couple of weeks ago. We've also had apple, blackberry, raspberry, watermelon, currant, strawberry, elderberry, and plum wine. Plum is about my favorite of the fruit wines we get.

I had no idea Boone's Farm made that many flavors. :p::woot:

Icelandic wolf fish. I've never had wolf fish before until today. Unfortunately we lost gas half way through the cook* so it could have turned out better. It was not unpleasant despite that.

Raw (I halved this fillet for today).

Served with chips, mushie peas and "bite back" pickled onions.

* When the gas runs out I need to run outside, remove the roof from the gas bottle house, disconnect the old empty bottle and connect the new full bottle. About 5 minutes. Maybe I should look at a valve system but we only run out of gas every six months or so.

I used to cook from a gas bottle but got fed up running out half way through a meal so fitted an automatic changeover valve and never looked back. For me life is about getting rid of those little irritations, they add up!!
