I don't drink a lot really, but this weekend I made up for it. I was assured this was a good hangover remedy. I can confirm the authenticity of that advice.

Wife bought me lunch earlier on her way home, a Cornish pastie, my fave. She had a ham roll.
Miss11 is here later for a few days, we will be cooking together , her and I. Possibly samosas?
Dinner later she has requested and we'll be having nachos.

Last nights dinner. Chicken salad with a a new type of sourdough from the bakers , it's to hot to bake our own. Pud Watermelon.
That was my nickname in High School...

I love cantaloupe and honeydew (only in season), but I can "take it or leave it" with watermelon.

I did hear of štriguni, the mythological appear not appear beings, but like a far away fairytale, of no true importance ...
There is a famous fairytale Šuma Striborova by a local lady writer, which is even school reading obligatory,with fantasy fairies and whatever, but none of this.
Nah,I just am not into that.

The banana bread buns (recipe by Helly on youtube) turned out better than expected,and are delicious, soft, spongy, slight hint of the banana. Contain yeast, I used 200 g Ap flour+150 g rye flour. Instead of raisins,I thought I had them, but then went for coconut shred and rice syrup.
They were just warm by breakfast time( i had not slept well and rose early).
Lunch zucchini feta cheese fritters. Kid had fried sausages by a local factory. Couscous. I also finished my spanish rice. Fresh toms.
