Today's meal was simple, - andouille sausage sandwiches and French fries.

The sandwiches used stone ground mustard, horse radish and sauer kraut.

Its difficult to find in Europe as is garlic powder. I've had to order both on line.

COSTCO has their Kirkland brand of granulated garlic (garlic powder) that is outstanding, if you have an membership , or know someone who does.

Grandsons 9th birthday yesterday, we went to the Quartz restaurant last night, I had the pork belly which was one of the best I've had in years. Everyone had the Sri Lankan chicken curry. Kids eat for $5 a head, meals were very generous.
As was our son, he picked up our tabs.

Not able to find dried onion powder at all?

No. I thought it was easy to find, but no.

Very light meals yesterday. I felt very instabile ...as I went to my doc for the eye, we also ran some basic tests to see if something is going on...results this afternoon and Monday.

By afternoon it was better,so in the evening I met a friend by another in city lake, Mariachi band, heard 5 songs and went home. It was nice.

I sold 35 of my old cd-s for 12 usd, glad to get rid of them,free space. I bumped my head on the door overhung as I climbed to reach the cds, that is ok now.

Was to giift a coffee table to a coworker and have coffee, but will postpone.

Coffee just plain. Acidophillus yoghurt, banana, wholegrain crackers. And rest.

Last nights dinner. Veal schnitzel, slaw and mash. Pud watermelon. For the weekend I have a choice of the turbot or swordfish from the freezer. I have not had ice cream for a year so maybe.

Hot off the grill (BBQ). Bone in, skin on chicken thighs. Just salt and pepper for seasoning. Nice crispy skin!

By the way Morning Glory here in Portugal both garlic and onion powder are easily available in supermarkets

Ah - I made an assumption. Neither are easily available in the UK - particularly onion powder.

My wife is out so I can have seafood so I made a quick paella with homemade chorizo…
And using tips from Morning Glory about taking shots and ‘staging’ I added one of the kids toys for some fun
