Hawaiian pizza last night with krinkle cut fries. Mr7 was in heaven. Thai red curry with chicken tonight??

I made focaccia for pizza later tonight. i like to do these ahead of time and then later just put the toppings on and put them under the broiler for 5 minutes. The crust stays very crisp.

Started with an ice cold dirty vodka martini.

Shared frog leg appetizer.

George had shrimp and tasso pasta

I had grilled speckled trout with an herb sauce, mashed sweet potatoes and jalapeno cheese grits.

We were both stuffed but could not resist desert. Bananas Foster Bread Pudding a la mode.

Brought home enough left overs for two more meals.

A lovely looking meal. Our restaurants are allowed to open next week. We were booked into a very good local Italian the night everything was closed, I intend to get back in the night they re-open.

I had grilled speckled trout with an herb sauce, mashed sweet potatoes and jalapeno cheese grits.

This dish sounds very alien to my European ears. Grilled speckled trout with herb sauce is fine except I'd not expect it to be a creamy sauce - I suppose because its an oily fish. But its the accompaniments which really sound odd. Maybe its me but I'd expect a fish like trout to be served with something like lemony herb sauce, a green salad or asparagus and baby new potatoes. This is no criticism - just an observation.

What is the sauce on the frogs legs?

Looks good - I'm assuming you brown the chicken before putting in the crockpot?

I've just roasted some chicken pieces in the halogen. Coated them with paprika and olive oil.

I made a red curry today, but it's one I already took many pictures of so I decided to leave it. It's a heatwave over here so I'm not too inspired to cook, though I might make a potato salad and some grilled meats tomorrow.
