Today's meal was a different type of calzone, a Philly cheese calzone, served with French fries.
No pics, but we had hot wings tonight.

Last nights low carb. I braised veal chunks with dried porcini and fresh mushrooms. I blitz the stock and shrooms to get a thick sauce, served with steamed cabbage. Pud watermelon.

I finished the Mousaka lunch portions. So this week it will be cottage cheese with various additions. Today is Tuna with spring onions cider vinegar and rape seed oil.

Since I had few leftover veal slices, I decided to make veal rolls stuffed with carrot (blanched few mins before) and Fontina cheese.
That looks great. I never acquired the taste for Lap Cheong myself but that does look very much like the real deal my mum would bring back from Chinatown.View attachment 65154
Just taken some Lap Cheong made some candied fat out the chamber ready for the start of Euro 2020 tonight. It's a sweet chinese cured sausage dating back to 580BC.
Oh and trying to improve my photo skills so I added some apples in the background as that seems to be the done thing with all this photo composition stuff...
