No pics, but we had sandwiches with thinly sliced porchetta (from freezer) with caramelized onion and roasted vege mayo (red bell, garlic, tomato, onion). They were supposed to have gruyere as well, but Craig forgot that.
That's not a sandwich its beans on toast! Its a Brit thing. Nearly everyone from the UK has made it or makes it. I certainly do. Its a student favourite too. Savoury foods on toast are very much a Brit thing and probably consequently an Aussie and NZ thing

Fried anchovy fillets. I’ve used semolina’s flour for breading - once again. I’m very addicted to that flour!

We certainly don't. In fact, I cooked 4 thighs tonight, none of them very big. Craig ate 2 at dinner. I ate 1 and my veges, and then several hours later ate the other 1 simply because I REALLY like fried chicken and wanted it. It was my dessert.Ha Ha Ha...
We Mercans don't all eat like that.
