No cooking again.
We did another take-out meal from a Steak House.

We shared:
Grilled Rib Eye Steak smothered in sauteed Mushrooms
Loaded Baked Potato
Green Beans
Salmon Caesar Salad
Oh and cookies for dessert
We have loads of leftovers, so that will probably have a repeat tonight

Mushrooms I am in love with. All types; as far as I know.
Same here. Can't get enough of them which is why I love the simplicity of this recipe. You actually cook the mushrooms first, squeaky hot and use the onions to drop the temperature in the pan and caramelise them at the same time.

It's a real shame Australia has such expensive mushrooms and such a poor selection of them in the major supermarkets. I have to go elsewhere to get anything other than white it brown cup or fields mushrooms. Even oyster mushrooms are not available in my main supermarket (unless you venture into the international isle and go dried). Venture elsewhere and you can get other types but they are eye wateringly expensive ($6 for 150g). Mushrooms are around $12‐14/kg. I miss the variety that you supermarkets sell, and don't even mention what's available in France!

Lettuce is in crazy short supply here and shelves are often empty by midday. Iceberg (not my favourite anyway) is over $10 a head.

I saw “living lettuce” (the ones that come with the roots still attached from the hydroponic system and in a plastic sleeve) at our local Aldi yesterday and though I had no specific plans for it (beside the need to feed the bearded dragon) but it looked so beautiful and fresh and lunch was a big meal so this fitted perfectly.
