We had Bami , or what we asked for, chicken, veg and eggs over noodles, at the Mall yesterday. Huge portion, good lunch. Kid had a fried ice cream.

Some catching up...
Last night I baked these corn flour muffins...good, but am not entirely sure yet if I like them or not...
Garlic, onion, bacon, fresh toms, basil over pasta for dinner. Dry parsley sprinkled on top. Salad mix.

If not for the saved pics, I would not remember what we ate

Except for the pickled turnip home bake with chicken, toasted buckwheat bread, no time to do a side.that was so yum.
Store bought grilled chicken, rosti bites and some mixed salad greens.

Oh I should have put this in the meatloaf thread...veal meatloaf with leek, just because I had half a leek, to use up, delicious!

It's from the right jar, I ordered it because it's suddenly very popular here but it's new to me too. This is the first time I tried it.
This brand is the most popular in China, the condiment originates from the Sezchuan region.
I thought it was really nice!
I plan to make my own in the future when I feel a bit better. It's typically served with dumplings, bao, noodles and as a dipping sauce.

Because the chillies and onions are fried to a crisp. And they are still crispy when served.

It is really nice! Though I am sure it's even better homemade, which I will attempt in the future. For now however, this is a nice find
