Boiled dumplings, noodles with lamb, black fungus with egg, shredded cold potato. Homemade chilli sauce not pictured.

4 dishes for $60 (that is just under $40usd) and we had a container each for lunch the next day.

The grower of the tomatoes, Bob, asked if I would take some of the salsa made from the last batch to the pub so he could try it. He would supply the chips (he's American).

I did and it went down really well. Bob was discharged from A & E in 2 hours and Steve should be moved out of intensive care either Friday or Saturday.

I've missed something here. Accident??

On Sunday my daughter & I had matinee tix for Rocky Horror - the stage show.

Afterward we had some time to kill before her train so I took her to the very popular Burwood Chinatown. It’s basically a shopping centre that has food stalls instead of retail shops.

At least 60 options but we just needed snacks so deep fried anything you can poke a stick through sprinkled with your choice of heat level Szechuan spice powder. Delicious of course, with the lamb being a clear winner. And afterwards strawberries dipped in toffee. Turns out a very messy treat.
