What did you cook or eat today (March 2023)?

Homemade spaghetti and meatballs.

The grower of the tomatoes, Bob, asked if I would take some of the salsa made from the last batch to the pub so he could try it. He would supply the chips (he's American).

I did and it went down really well. Bob was discharged from A & E in 2 hours and Steve should be moved out of intensive care either Friday or Saturday.

I was going to ask you what I should do with the leftover Thai chili peppers I have…but never mind. :headshake:

Last night I had a cheeseburger on an onion roll, (I added fried onions, ketchup and pickles), rosemary roasted baby red and yellow potatoes, and broccoli rabe.

No plctures but was good.

Had pan fried leftover potatoes and onions in my scrambled eggs for breakfast.

I baked this lemon New York cheesecake today. It's chilling in the fridge now. Didn't cook anything interesting.

Morning from Sydney - I owe you all a catch up post. I will apologize for my absence and for any double ups but I think it’s been a week?

I’m not sure if any of you follow many chefs or bakers on Instagram but this was inspired by Bryan Ford who was inspired by David Chang to make hotteok. Bryan filled his with chorizo, walnuts, brown sugar. I scored a package of lup cheong so used some of those.

Served with vegetable japchae and various banchan. We can’t get enough of blanched broccoli, well drained and seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic (powder is easiest) & sesame oil.

Edit - it was much longer - I made the hotteok on the 11th.
