What did you cook or eat today (March 2024)?

Sitting at a hotel bar, waiting for MrsT’s flight to land. I had a beer (Sam Adams) and some boneless hot wings (which aren’t wings at all, I suppose), mainly because I figured that’d be the easiest/fastest thing.

I made dinner with whatever I could find in the kitchen - which turned out to be nachos with red onion, olives, some pickled jalapeños, corn, and 5 yr old cheddar. Served with salsa and sour cream.

Had homemade pepper steak last night. Flank steak, peppers and onions. Could have used more sauce. With jasmine rice on the side. I used a bag of Success brand rice and did it in the microwave.

Tonight will probably be the rest of the sliced flank steak pan fried. Not sure what else. Maybe eggs or sides. TBD later.

I had leftover chicken and pasta at 2 PM EST, 1st meal of the day.

Sundried tomatoes, lemon, wine, garlic and butter sauce over chicken topped with goat cheese and fresh basil over fettuccine Alfredo with arugula and spinach (and more fresh basil) folded in.

Edit: I didn't make that chicken, it was leftover from Carrabba's a few days ago...yes, I live on the edge and often eat leftovers past the 3 day recommended mark. I've never gotten sick from it yet!
