What did you cook or eat today (March 2025)

Not in my house! We don't like mint (well it's ok in tea but not my thing still). I made a soy-based marinade with garlic, ginger, orange, and honey.

We have mint growing by our back yard tap. I make about 20 bottles of sauce every year. I almost drink it. Again, my wife doesn't like it.
Easiest sauce to make
1 liter malt vinegar
1 liter water
1 cup of sugar
Big handful of mint chopped
Boil and bottle

Well I am not even close to cooking dinner yet, but we are having lamb chops with mashed taters and peas later.

I have 6 mid loin lamb chops in freezer ready to do tandoori lamb cutlets my wifes fave.

No, they send out menus in advance for a week. You can choose how many and which meals you want or can skip weeks you don't like or need meals. If you want a free oven, you commit to buying so many meals within a certain period of time. After that, you can cancel anytime.

Not exactly like Hello Fresh. There's very, very little prep and then the meals are cooked in the oven, so it's pretty much hands free after what little prep there is.

Took Mom for her bi-monthly beautification this afternoon, so it was linner afterwards...

Mom's ginormous French Dip with her choice of side - Onion Rings.
I said, Mom, that order of Onion Rings is a meal in it self!
She just chomped away, nodding her head.
Oh, and you can see in the lower left corner of the above photo, DH order his usage Pretzel Bites

And speaking of my DH, here's his linner (late lunch/early dinner) of a Turkey Club Sammie and his side was a salad... again, loads of food!

For Moi, never had I ever had a SmashBurger™ ... but that's what I had with Sweet Potato Waffle Fries.
We all only ate half of our meals and took the rest home.
As we were waiting for our linner, it started to snow and DH was in a big hurry to GO!

It hit 32°C today, so we wanted something quick and easy. We're our of salad stuff, so coriander pesto, ravioli and edname beans it was.

Hubby likes that coriander pesto.
