Yes and no. Out of season I can drive to the Riva in about 15 minutes. In season up to 60 mins. Yesterday driving to Omis we saw the first cuckoo's of spring. Three Brit Camper vans !
Oh Goodness...ok. in season it is nerv racking...
Cuckoos? Niiiiice
Tourism is back?

Last week I noticed some sportsmen, unsure where from, as they did not speak as I passed them by, possibly crew teams. And another group of lets say wrestling or judo...but they cannot count as tourists...

The sports venues are nearby and it is a business trip for them i guess...

They were getting food from the local supermarkets...

Weight Watchers really is a nice program, as long as you weigh & measure your portions you can eat anything within your points allowance. So today was air fried fish fingers, oven chips & cucumber salad.

Simple soy ginger garlic bok choy soup with glass noodles.

Thank you all for mentioning shakshuka.💙💞💙

Shakshuka ( no eggs , groceries delivered tomorrow, slight variation to the spices, coriander ground, smoked paprika, peppery spice blend, no cumin, no nutmeg...), black quinoa, baby spinach.

Kid had the fried chicken fillet along.

Very very happy.

This morning, I had breakfast on the road, the first time I ordered anything since the pandemic lock down started over a year ago.

I had a Starbuck's coffee chocolate macchiato at 05:00am.

And at 7:00am, the VA Palo Alto hospital cafeteria opened and I had a 'everything' omelette with three slices of bacon, hash browns and an orange juice.

So, then it was off to the the waiting room. It used to be a TV lounge, but they closed that down due to the pandemic and the waiting room turned out to be bench seating out in the passage ways.

I had some junk food stuff while I was waiting - snack crisps and a cherry Coke.

And since I couldn't watch TV, I watched this wonderful wall hanging of a place called Emerald Lakes in the California Sierra Nevada Mountains.

Wife snacked on those pea crispy things last night as well. She was going to have tea at work last night but the one night they had pasta, she doesn't like pasta.
