This morning, I had breakfast on the road, the first time I ordered anything since the pandemic lock down started over a year ago.

I had a Starbuck's coffee chocolate macchiato at 05:00am.

And at 7:00am, the VA Palo Alto hospital cafeteria opened and I had a 'everything' omelette with three slices of bacon, hash browns and an orange juice.

So, then it was off to the the waiting room. It used to be a TV lounge, but they closed that down due to the pandemic and the waiting room turned out to be bench seating out in the passage ways.

I had some junk food stuff while I was waiting - snack crisps and a cherry Coke.

And since I couldn't watch TV, I watched this wonderful wall hanging of a place called Emerald Lakes in the California Sierra Nevada Mountains.

Butternut squash was excellent. Last night hot, butter on, honey drizzle on, then no honey with the next slice, as it was not necessary at all. Amaranth poppies on.

Today, cold squash, still delicious. Just plain.

Greek yoghurt plain and then withAmaranth poppies on.

Groceries arrived.👍 Scheduled for 9-11 am, 9.05 arrived.👏👍

And we got free Hard Seltzer, Coke and a cereal bar.🤷 Well thank you very much.

Did not even know what Hard Seltzer is. Alc or no alc?
